[Video] Judge: Lifesaving Law Will Be Put To Use in Corpus Christi

Although Mary’s law is supposed to help prevent domestic violence cases from escalating to the level of danger, the law has never been put to use in Nueces county. The law requires attackers to be tracked by GPS monitoring, but, the difference is if an abuser gets too close to a victim, that victim and authorities are notified by text.

In an effort to put that law to use, Recovery Healthcare CEO, Larry Vanderwoude, spoke with and showed those GPS devices and the latest technology to the Council of District Judges. He says his company has the equipment and technology in Corpus Christi right now. All it takes is an order from a judge.
