Position Overview (ENTRY LEVEL)

Recovery Healthcare Corporation is seeking an entry level Supervision Officer to initiate offender supervision services for any and all individuals referred to them by the Court. Duties include coordinating and confirming client participation in approved and/or required programmatic activities; and reporting client non-compliance to governmental agencies. Works under direct or general supervision.

Essential Functions

  • Provide prompt and thorough customer service to participants, supervision officers and senior court/county officials
  • Monitor clients assigned to designated case load
  • Verify attendance at work, counseling, medical, and other required/approved appointments through home/field visits or other means
  • Process incoming/outgoing calls with company personnel, referring agencies, and clients
  • Distribute reports of violation and other documents to supervision officers or other law enforcement.
  • Document all pertinent information electronically in monitoring system and in agency communication databases
  • Bill and collect supervision fees for program participation according to the Court Policy and Procedure manuals.
  • Serve as liaison between Recovery Healthcare Corporation and county agencies
  • Observe drug screenings for same-sex clients

  • Perform accurate computer data entry and reports.

  • Define problems, collect and analyze data, and determine valid solutions
  • Recognize and meet needs of customer/end user
  • Bend, stoop, lift objects up to 10lbs., and maintain mobility necessary to perform minimum functions associated with the position

Minimum Qualifications

  • Computer Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required
  • Clear criminal background and negative drug screen required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Reliable Transportation required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Course work in Criminal Justice, Social Work, behavioral science, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Preferably at least six months experience in the criminal justice field, but not necessary.

Pay/Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, etc. available the first after 60 days of employment.
  • Vacation, sick time available after 4 months of employment.
  • Employees are paid bi-weekly.
