Biker arrested following Twin Peaks shooting released on $1 million bond

An attorney for one of the bikers arrested following the Twin Peaks shootings says his client bonded out and is out of jail as of Wednesday morning.

Jeff Battey is at a Dallas hospital to be treated for bullet fragments in his arm after posting his $1 million bond.

Battey was fitted with an electronic ankle monitor as a stipulation of his release, as will all the bikers who bond out of jail.

Battey became the first biker to post bond earlier Tuesday to get out of jail, but Sutton said authorities determined they were not releasing anyone without fitting them with an electronic ankle monitor. Sheriff Parnell McNamara confirmed that stipulation to News Channel 25 Tuesday night.
